For core-making processes, we supply Cold Box Binders that deliver high reactivity and strength while maintaining low emissions to meet environmental standards. These binders are perfect for producing lightweight, durable cores for detailed casting requirements. Our Cold Box Resin System is engineered to produce castings with superior surface finishes, minimal gas defects, low metal penetration, and excellent shakeout properties.
CARBOPHEN
Carbophen is our CO₂ Resole binder system, tailored for producing cores and moulds with enhanced flowability, high resistance to humidity, and outstanding collapse properties. These characteristics ensure that the moulds maintain their integrity during the casting process while facilitating easy removal after solidification.
Ideal for all types of castings, particularly bulky cores, it offers excellent heat resistance, superior breakdown properties, and is highly effective for low-temperature non-ferrous metals.
SIGMACURE RANGE
DZanetech offers the SIGMA CURE 138 PT1 and SIGMA CURE 238 PT2, advanced solutions designed to enhance performance in challenging casting environments. Our SIGMA CURE range is one of the most comprehensive and reliable cold box systems in the industry. By leveraging decades of expertise and innovative engineering, DZanetech delivers unmatched performance, efficiency, and quality.
It is a highly versatile Cold-Box binder system, combining phenolic resin and polyisocyanate in aromatic solvents. Backed by years of expertise, this system offering consistent and efficient performance.
AMACORE™19/12
The Amacore range is a 3-part system consisting of the Amacore 19 and Amacore 29 resins, with amagas as an amino catalyst. AMACORE™ 19/29 is a robust cold-box resin system which is environmentally friendly. This resin system was developed to work well with a wide range of sand quality. The main features include:
· The Amacore resin has a huge portion of solvents from renewable sources to make it green.
· The resin has lower free phenol and has no free formaldehyde.
· The Amacore resin bench life is better.
· Reduced odour irritation during core making and storage.
· Reduced smoke emission during casting and shakeout.
· Improved strength allowing for consumption optimisation.
Maximum performance can be realised when the sand quality is within acceptable
limits for the conventional phenolic urethane cold-box binder system.
AMAGAS is a tailored catalyst component for hardening the AMACORE cold box bindersystem. The process yields high immediate and maximum strengths and a very long bench life. The system is resilient against moisture and water-based core washes.
WHY CHOOSE SIGMACURE:
